Mahindra XUV 500 monthly production to touch 5K units, waiting period to cut short
Automobile manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is on cloud nine due to the phenomenal response from the enthusiasts for its flagship crossover, Mahindra XUV500. Since launch XUV500 had been one of the most demanding SUVs from the auto-giant. Recently, M&M opened the second phase of booking for XUV500 across 19 major cities in India that recorded more than 25000 booking applications. Inspired from the overwhelming response in the second phase of bookings, Mahindra has decided to mount up the production of XUV500 up to 5,000 cars per month. At present, Mahindra & Mahindra produces 3000 units per month of its XUV 500 which is no doubt quite low in order to meet up with booming demands.
