Mahindra Xylo Mini may see 2012 Auto Expo launch; price Rs 4-5 Lakhs
Mahindra and Mahindra has surely conquered the world and again proved to be an Indian threat to global automakers within the country as well as abroad with the launch of its World SUV XUV500. This time the home-based utility king is ready with another shocker and that’s the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Mini Xylo. This vehicle is expected to raise the bar in terms of sales for Mahindra in the MPV segment as the projected price of this vehicle is around Rs 4 Lakhs to Rs 5 Lakhs for base level.
It is rumored that vehicle will be less than four meter in length. The Mini Xylo will witness its launch next year or else it will leave everyone amazed by its launch at the 2012 India Auto Expo scheduled in January.
The Mini version of Xylo will stand on the present Xylo’s body-on-frame design. With the price between Rs 4-5 Lakhs this MUV is sure to put up a whole new segment in the auto industry. The interiors are expected to be capacious enough to occupy five adults comfortable. The Mini Xylo will sport a 3-cylinder, 1.5L Common Rail Turbo Charged Diesel powered engine. The vehicle will be beneficial for those looking for a decently priced MPV with lots of boot space and will prove to be a healthy substitute for sedans and high-priced hatchbacks.
Previously Mahindra SUV XUV500 which launched in October was not only applauded with its appearance in exterior and interior but rivals went insane when prices were announced. Company’s line up contains new launched Bolero, Xylo, and sedan Verito.
