India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki stated a 20.8% downfall in sales for September to 85,565 units and blamed the ongoing workforce impasse at its Haryana based Manesar production facility that caused the hit. As per Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), in the same month in 2010 the leading car maker had made a sale of 1, 08,006 units. The news is that Maruti Suzuki will resume production at the Manesar plant on Sunday. The country's largest car maker had to stop production at its plant because the workers stopped supplies and went on a strike. A company executive was recorded saying that the normal production will resume immediately as Suzuki Powertrain workers have decided to end the strike.
