Maruti Ertiga launch in Indonesian shores very soon

Suzuki, the global parental automobile unit of the leading Indian car maker, Maruti Suzuki has stated that it is looking forward to introduce its much anticipated compact MUV, the Ertiga on the Indonesian shores in coming year, with an objective of mounting up its yearly sales stats in the country up to 1 lakh units per annum. In 2011, this Japanese auto-giant was able to sell around 91,000 units in the Indonesian auto-market.  

In the Indian sub-continent, Maruti Suzuki unveiled the Maruti Ertiga prototype at the Delhi Auto Expo held in January, this year. The same designed model is expected to be sold in the Indian and Indonesian auto-market, but it is likely to be manufactured in the India and later exported as CKD to Indonesian shores.

Maruti Ertiga is going to be launched in 1.4 liter petrol and 1.3 liter diesel engine options. The petrol inline of this car would be calibration enough to churn maximum power of 95 bhp with the peak torque of 130 Nm, while the 1.3 liter DDiS diesel inline of this car is speculated to churn peak power of 89 bhp and maximum torque of 200 Nm.  Although, the company has not yet unveiled the exact price of this MPV, but speculations are that it is going to be slated in the range of range of Rs. 6 – 8 lakh.

This seven seater MPV is assumed to carry phenomenal fabric upholstery, while the top end variant might come mated by the leather upholstery. The launch date of Ertiga in Indian auto-market is not yet disclosed, but according to the close automobile sources, the company might launch this car in the mid of 2012.
