These are genuinely large facilities that owe their own driving tracks. Six such IDTRs have been created and are being managed by Maruti all across India. Maruti Suzuki is also operating its Road Safety initiatives by opening Maruti Driving Schools (MDS) in collaboration with its dealers. More than 200 MDS are already functional all over India. This new IDTR in Rohtak is the third to be set up in Haryana and they already exist in Delhi NCR, Uttarakhand and Gujarat. This set up will further boost the Road Safety training infrastructure of India and will train over 20,000 people annually in safe driving.
