Maruti records decline of 4.4 percent in its sales
Country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited recorded the decline of 4.4 percent in sales as compared to its sales compared during the month of 2012. In the month of December 2013 company sold out 90, 924 units whereas during the same month in December it recorded sales of 95, 145 units.
It would be interested to know that although company recorded an increase of 5.5 percent during the same month as compared to its sales in 2012. In month of December 2013 company succeeded in selling out 86, 613 units of vehicles, whereas in the month of December 2012 it sold out 82, 073 units. However its exports during the same period declined in month of December 2013. According to sources of company it exported 4,311 units in the month of December 2013 as against 13, 072 units were exported during the year 2012.
It would be important to mention that as an impact of decline in economy shares of Maruti Suzuki have also noticed a decline. According to industry experts chances of improving situation in coming is still suspicious, however it should be hoped that the situation will improve, especially after Indian Auto Expo which is scheduled to be held next month in Delhi.
