Maruti Suzuki cars to cost more from next week
The largest passenger car maker of the nation, Maruti Suzuki is considering an upward revision in prices of its automobiles by next week. This news was announced by the company spokesperson on Thursday. The increased percentage is not known yet, but it is expected to be around 1 to 2 percent.
The market leader looks forward to post increased sales figures in January 2012 in comparison to same month last year, this piece of information was delivered by Mr. Mayank Pareek- the Head for Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki. He was present at the unveiling event of Maruti Suzuki’s new compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Maruti XA Alpha concept. The event was held at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. Along with this concept vehicle the company will surely launch its awaited MPV Maruti Ertiga at the exposition.

As per Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) Mr. Shinzo Nakanishi, the company will be closing this financial year, which ends in March, on a lower note against the last fiscal.
Maruti Suzuki had repetitive strikes at its manufacturing units in the country in recent times that cost the company with a huge financial loss along with underperformance in production as well.
