Maruti Suzuki Colours of Youth winner gets Maruti A Star
It is not just that Maruti cars can keep you entertained inside it as it also tries to keep entertainment in sight outside as well. Recently, Maruti concluded ‘Maruti Suzuki Colours of Youth’ contest and declared the winner. Gian Singh Namdhari of Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology got the first prize for showcasing his immense talent in classical/vocal performance. He will be presented Maruti A-Star. Meanwhile Arindam Biswas and Suraj. R Chaube has finished second while Institute of Symbiosis International Business and Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College have finished third.
This is a one of the kind talent hunt event organized by Maruti since November last year and after several rounds Gian Singh Namdhari and his team was declared as winner of the contest in Gurgaon on March 18. He won the title of the Maruti Suzuki Colours of Youth after he just enthralled the entire audience at the event with his vocal and classical performance on Jori Pakhawaj. Gian Singh’s team mates included Isher Singh Namdhari who played the Shehnai. Whereas Arindam stood second after he impressed the audience with his performance on guitar.
Over 900 participants from over 150 management and engineering colleges took part in this competition and out of a series of events and rounds of competition that Gian Singh got the first prize. He will be presented with an all new Maruti A Star car while other winners will also get prizes by Maruti India. Such events not only boost the image of the car maker but are also part of the activities of the car makers in doing their part in the betterment of the country in which they are producing cars. Though Maruti is more so an Indian car maker and it also endeavors to have the best of the efforts in the country both in terms of new cars as well as in hunting the best brains.
