Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire facelift caught un-camouflaged
Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire the highest selling sub-four meter sedan from MSIL is undergoing facelift and spies have succeeded in capturing the first look of facelift Swift Dzire without any covers. The Japanese auto giant has already been launched in European and Japanese car market and is now getting ready to make its debut in Indian car market during the month of July this year.
According to sources the facelift Swift Dzire will continue the existing engine configurations of 1.2 litre K-Series VVT petrol engine developing the power of 85 bhp and torque of 114 Nm and diesel variant energized with 1.3 litre MultiJet diesel engine churning the power of 74 bhp and torque of 190 Nm. The existing version of Swift Dzire is offered four speed and five speed manual gearbox options, it is speculated that company might recall the four speed manual gearbox option with automated manual transmission system which would be similar to one offered in recently launched hatchback Celerio from company.
Talking about the major changes offered in the facelift Swift Dzire it is reported that the major changes are expected to be offered I the top end variant which will include new alloy wheels, news DRLs and various other comfort features. Apart from these updates spies succeeded in noticing presence of huge chrome work at front fascia including chrome garnished grille, fog lamp covering, newly developed front bumper, new headlamps and few more. Company has however not made any changes at the interiors. After launch the facelift Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire will compete against existing sub four meter sedans including proposed Tata Zest, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent.
