Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray AMT on cards of MSIL
Encouraged from the over whelming response received by Celerio AMT and Alto K10 AMT versions, country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited is going to bring the AMT version of its another hatchback Wagon R Stingray soon in Indian car market. The hatchback was launched last year in Indian car market and is empowered with 1.0 litre K Series petrol engine boosting the power of 68 PS and torque of 90 Nm. It is mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. The AMT version would be bestowed with Magneti Marelli five speed automatic transmission system.
According to reports the AMT Stingray would be launched sometimes during next year and is anticipated to be offered at little higher price then compared to its ongoing version. One thing which might be concern for car maker is that alike Celerio and Alto K10 AMT versions, Stingray would be also embellished with Magnetti Marelli AMT system and therefore it would be interested to see that how MSIL would meet the demand of AMT system for all these three car models as both Celerio and Alto K10 AMT models are having waiting period between six monts to two months respectively. Use of same AMT version in Stingray might affect the supply of Celerio AMT and Alto K10 AMT models.
