Cashing in on the success it has achieved in Chile and Uruguay, now Maruti has launched it Maruti Swift Dzire in Algeria. Maruti has been putting efforts to make Maruti Swift Dzire a global brand. In this regard, it has decided to launch it across the world. Maruti Swift Dzire has already been launched in South Africa and now it has started its mission to conquer Africa. To begin with, Maruti has launched its Maruti Swift Dzire in Algeria. The incharge of Maruti Suzuki cars in Algeria is Elsecom Suzuki. So it is Elsecom which has launched the Swift Dzire in the country.

It has made available Maruti Swift Dzire in three variants — GA, GL, GLX. Before moving towards Africa, Maruti has been successful in launching the Maruti Swift Dzire in South America and North America. By launching the car globally, the Maruti aims to increase the volume of sale of its car this year. Maruti has aim to sale its Swift Dzire in the world, the auto industry sources said. The prices of variants are in dinar. Swift Dzire GA would be made available in 1.1 Million dinar, which is approximately equal to Rs 7.92 lakh, the prices of Swift Dzire GL would be 1.32 Million dinar, which is approximately equal to Rs 9.51 lakh and Swift Dzire GLX would be costliest among them all at 1.39 Million dinar approximately equal to Rs 10 lakh. Before Maruti Swift Dzire was formally launched in Algeria, it was spotted testing on the Algerian roads.

All the variants will come with the same engine. The swift Dzire is powered by 1.2 K series engine producing 85 hp. The other features of the car would be dual airbags for safety of the driver and passengers. It has improved handling with power steering. It has powerful air conditioning, radio, CD and MP3 facilities with four electric windows.

Same like Maruti Swift Dzire there are chances that the Renault Duster, which is about to launch in India, might also see it exported to neighboring countries making India a manufacturing hub for the French carmaker Renault.
