The luxury car segment in the global car bazaar has been facing a tough competition since a long time now. It has been Mercedes Ben that dominated the segment, but from last couple of months, Audi and BMW has become a major problem for Mercedes-Benz. Therefore, to gain back its top spot, Mercedes Benz is mulling to introduce about 10 new cars into its portfolio by the year of 2015.

The introduction of the new cars by Mercedes Benz will commence with Mercedes Benz B Class, which could be launched very soon followed by Mercedes Benz A Class. The car fanatics could also expect the compact cars from the car maker including compact SUV, four-door coupe etc.  The company has always introduced posh luxury cars with strong safety department. The same could be expected from the new range as well. The company is actually trying its level best to grab the top spot yet again. Keeping in mind the Mercedes Benz 2020 growth tactic, the firm will soon be seen on the top spot of the luxury car market.

Even in India, Mercedes Benz wasn’t able to continue with its top position here. India is certainly one of the most thriving and flourishing market in the world. Therefore, the Indian car market is also expected to welcome these new products, which would surely help the firm in regaining its top spot in the Indian car bazaar.

However, there are few serious reasons as to why Mercedes Benz is lagging behind in the market. One of the main reasons is that the competitors of the company are offering smart cars with new designs and new features. But, with the new cars that Mercedes Benz is planning to bring in by 2015, there are strong chances that Mercedes Benz would get back to the top position in the luxury car market.
