More than 1.5 lakh bookings garnered by Renault Kwid
Renault Kwid, the most economical hatchbacks from French car maker Renault launched last year in Indian car market has received more than 1,50,000 bookings across the world, including Indian car market. The success of Kwid can be witnessed from fact that as an impact of its sales the market share of Renault has grown to 3.8 percent as compared to 2.3 percent during the first half of 2016.
Going through the success enjoyed by Kwid, company is going to bring its upgraded version during the upcoming festive season which will be empowered with 1.0 litre petrol engine followed by AMT transmission system. The proposed variant is also reported to embellish features like dual airbags and ABS system.
With this, to meet the increasing demand of Renault Kwid and to minimize the duration of waiting period car maker has enhanced the production of Kwid to 10k units per month. According to recent reports the Indian alliance of Renault is soon going to commence the export of Kwid CKD kits to Brazil where it will be launched by the end of this year.
