New Audi Q5 crossover may hit the Indian shores this month
Audi India is already geared up to begin its new year with a big bang! The German auto major is likely to roll out the face-lifted version of its crossover, Audi Q5. This one is the top-selling model in the Indian car bazaar for Audi. The refreshed model of the car will come in direct competition with BMW X3. The 2013 Q5 Crossover will be the first launch of Audi in the New Year. This new model is already being sold in other international markets and the response there for the car has come up to be quite amazing.
The face-lifted variant of Audi Q5 crossover was revealed first at the Beijing Motor Show in 2012. The car will be launched with numerous changes on the exteriors, which also include in reworked headlamps along with fresh new grille. The fog lamp housing and front bumper has also been modified a bit. Besides the changes on the outside, the new Audi Q5 crossover will come with many new features on the inside. The better quality material for the seats, fresh color schemes all make the interiors better than before.
On the other hand, the engine is also expected to be replaced by 3.0 TFSI turbo petrol engine, which would help the car to perform better and much more impressively; while the diesel engine is expected to be same as before. The transmission will be 7-speed dual clutch DSG automatic gearbox, accompanied by Quattro all wheel drive technology. This will be standard in all variants of new Audi Q5 crossover.
The 2013 Audi Q5 Crossover will be assembled in India at its Aurangabad manufacturing unit, which means the price of the car will not be expensive and would be competitive.
