Chevrolet Beat is in fact the most fuel efficient diesel hatchback in India and the outcomes of this fact have been cherished by GM after the hike in petrol prices in the form of exceptional sales. As per the latest reports, the new Beat has been spotted and is expected to be launched soon. Styled radically with the latest design that is apt to fetch more and more sales, the Beat and specially the Beat Diesel has at last established itself in the market. It has in fact also become the best selling Chevrolet car in India. Still the 25.44 kmpl ARAI certified mileage is unachieved by any other hatch except the Tata Indica eV2 that promises 25 kmpl.

The new Beat is expected to have refreshed exteriors and is believed to create new demand for the car in the market. As per the sources, it is said that the new design will not have too many changes and it will be more like the existing generation Beat with subtle design changes. It is also said that the design changes on the new Beat unveiled internationally will be coming to India in the form of new Beat. Notably, GM has already launched the new Spark in US which is the new generation of Beat that is sold in India. Meanwhile, there is no changes expected under the hood and Beat will continue to be offered in Petrol, Petrol – CNG and diesel avatars with the same engine configuration.

It is noteworthy that after the recent increase in price of petrol has greatly pushed the sales of Beat Diesel in India and the Tata Indica eV2 that are known for their mileage delivery. Meanwhile, introduction of a new avatar will help the American auto maker help fetch numbers and specially when the petrol prices are still high and there is a rising craze for diesel cars in India.
