New Chevrolet Captiva unveils at Geneva global launches thereafter
Toyota Fortuner had it, the Ford Endeavour had it in the form of Ford Endeavour All Terrain Limited Edition and now the Chevrolet Captiva is all set to have it. A new refreshed version. General Motors has made it all set to unveil the new Captiva at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and with this the car will have world recognition. It is believed that the new SUV will then head for a series of launches in different parts of the world including India. Apart from customary stylistic changes, the car maker has imbibed some new features in the car in order to make its candidature strong in the segment. New Captiva price in India is expected to be more or the same with few thousand raise on the cards.
The new features include all new tail lamp that has LED technology in place rather than conventional bulbs. Apart from this there is also reprofiling of the rear commensurate with the new shape of the exhaust opening trimming as well as new tail lights. The front appearance is also changed with new lowered bumper, new grille and all new fog lamps. New wheels are 18 inch alloys with typical styling as per the choice of the customer. These changes distinctly distinguish the new Captiva from the exiting generation and it is believed that it will be able to turn as a volume segment car for the car maker.
On the inside, it is change everywhere. New fabric, new leather and all new instrument panel besides the improved climate controlled HVAC. Keeping the cold climates in view, the car has heated seated at the rear as well making the ride a comfortable one for the passengers as well. The engine and transmission line up will be the same as the existing engines are performing well under the hood of the car. Apart from this the plastic quality has been improved and there are lot many new comfort and convenience features added to the car.
