Ford India has been successful in making a mark in the Indian car market. Its hatchback car called Ford Figo has done quite a good business here and has been giving its rivals a run for their money. Now, Ford India is mulling over a sub-Figo small car for the Indian car market, which would eye on much higher volumes. But this could be done only if the pricing of the product is done correctly. The new sub-Figo small car could arrive in India by 2015 and would be amongst the new eight products that Ford had announced for the country about a year ago. Ford Fiesta was the first product amongst the 8 new ones announced by the firm.  

Noted Ford Figo is an impressive hatchback that is quite premium, jam-packed with numerous equipments, available in both diesel and petrol versions and most importantly reasonably priced. Therefore, it is quite clear that Ford Figo is the largest selling car of Ford in India.  

The technical specifications of sub-Figo small car have been kept under the hood for now. But, this car will be specially developed for the Indian car bazaar. Consequently, high fuel economy with reasonable price could be expected from sub-Figo small car. However, this car will maintain Ford’s conventional strengths such as fun to drive character, high quality build and higher fuel economy.  

So if you are a Ford car lover, then sub-Ford small car would be a total delight for you. But the only hindrance for now is its launch date. The car is not expected before 2015; hence, one has to be patient for the time being.
