Honda has launched new Honda City 2012 in Malaysia. The facelifted version of Honda City 2012 would be made available in two trims levels — Grade S and Grade E. The company has given some features which would make the facelifted version different from the existing Honda City. New Honda City has got new rear lights, new chrome grille, fresh front and rear bumpers. Besides, the car is powered by 1.5 litre iVTEC engine that generates 120 PS.

New Honda City has been given beautiful features including new cluster and dashboard that has been refurbished from scratch. It has become more stylish with new colors of dashboards and centre console. The meter cluster will be metallic -trimmed. Also, ECO signal light has been attached to the meter cluster which gets on when the driver drives the car efficiently. As far as safety of driver and passengers, the car gets twp front airbags. Also, Brake Assist, ABS, EBD and ISOFIX are the other features in the car which keep the driver and passenger safe in case of accidents. For the passenger on the middle of the rear seat has been given a headrest as well. Also, he can fasten safety belt for his safety.

Besides, Grade E and Grade S are different in many aspects. Grade E gets Vehicle Stability Assist, front fog lights, retractable side mirrors with turn signals, chrome exhaust tips, steering wheel wrapped in leather and rear armrest. The wheels in Grade E are bigger. The company has made available the cars in five colors — Alabaster Silver Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl and Taffeta White. The company offers Grade S at RM 85,980 and Grade E is slightly costlier as it comes at RM 90,980. Besides, with new version of Honda City, a consumer will get five-year unlimited mileage warranty. The company will also offer six free labor services upto 100,000 km.
