New Land Rover Freelander 2 launched, price starts at Rs 38.67 lakh
Where there is gloomy situation in the car market, there are cars that have come to bring it out into the light. In an endeavor, Tata has launched the Land Rover Freelander 2 in India. The special thing about this is that it is made in India and it has a price tag starting at Rs 38.67 lakh making it a highly lucrative buy. Already the Freelander 2 is one of the best selling JLR cars in the country and this new price tag is going to further boost its presence in the car market. The new version of this SUV comes in two variants. One is 2.2 L TD4 engine while the higher model comes with 2.2 L SD4 HSE engine. The launch is expected to have a positive impact on sales as the new price is also very attractive.
In addition to the new price and being built in house in India, the new Freelander 2 also has many exterior and interior upgrades that make it stand apart from its earlier versions. The new JLR car has much upgraded equipments inside and the car is available in entirely new shades as well. With this the car now has many factors to attract the car buyers and also becoming a prime rival of Audi Q5, Audi Q7, BMW X1 and others.
The new car has a new centre console, with seven inch color screen with touch. For in car entertainment there is an all new audio system. In order to serve its purpose of being an SUV, the car has full navigation system that will keep the occupants informed about their whereabouts and thus no off roading experience will be in anonymity. Compared to its earlier versions, the car has keyless start feature and the hill descent and hill hold features are one of their kind. The car also comes with rear view camera for intelligent parking feature.
