New Mahindra Xylo facelift Spotted testing, expected to be launched soon
After successfully rolling-out its latest sports utility vehicle XUV500 in the Indian auto market, the utility vehicle giant Mahindra & Mahindra is now all set to launch new face-lifted version of its popular MUV – Mahindra Xylo – in the country. The launch of this new face - lifted Xylo is seems to be very close as the vehicle was recently spotted testing on the Indian roads. Though the spy pictures of the new face-lifted Xylo show the vehicle heavily covered in camouflaging, but a number of changes on both exterior and interior fronts are expected.
As per the recent media reports, the new Xylo facelift will be carrying an improved interior with a number of designing, styling and feature changes. The exterior of the new Xylo is also expected to come blessed with a more aggressive front profile along with a number of cosmetic changes.

Though the company is yet to reveal the specification and pricing details of the car in the Indian market, but it is expected that new Xylo will be carrying the same 2489cc, Manual, Diesel engine at its heart, which has been powering the current model of the Xylo. The new Xylo will be compatible with the new BS-IV emission norms, and is expected to be tuned for a better fuel economy.
At present, Mahindra Xylo is the second best selling MUV in the India market following the segment leader Toyota Innova at the top. Though the sales figures of Xylo are much lesser as compared to the same of Innova, but the MUV has been having an upper hand over the other competitors like Tata Aria.
However, the way for Mahindra Xylo is not going to be very easy in coming days as a number of new MUV’s are lined up to be launched in the country in coming months including country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming Ertiga model and Nissan’s upcoming NV200.
