New Mahindra Xylo, speculations on the rise

Is Mahindra Xylo going to be more macho with prominent wheel arches, or will there be a revision of the upfront? Though it is quite impossible to silence these speculations currently but based on some of the spy shots of the camouflaged Mahindra Xylo as well as obvious changes expected one could redraw the MUV in entirety. Though the Mahindra Xylo facelift is not too far but let us see how the Mahindra Xylo facelift will look like.    

Among the visible changes on the outside of the new Mahindra Xylo is a new grille that will also house the Mahindra logo at the centre. Apart from this the new Mahindra Xylo is expected to have front bumpers in its revised form making them look more robust and thus making the Xylo appear macho than its earlier version.

Besides compared to the existing model, the facelifted Mahindra Xylo is expected to have different lines on the bonnet giving it a sporty look. As part of the most popular changes will be the headlamps. There will be new headlamps and it could be possible that Mahindra may experiment with day time running lights as well. Besides, the tail lamp of the new Xylo there are also expectations to have a drastic change coupled with the placement of the rear spoiler. As expected the B and C pillars will be blacked out. Last but worth adding is the introduction of new styling to the reflectors on the rear bumper which itself will undergo a change.

In addition to the exterior changes, the new Mahindra Xylo will also be deriving many features from the recently launched Mahindra XUV 500. It is reportedly known that the high end Mahindra Xylo will be inspired by XUV 500 in Toto. Apart from these changes, a 4WD version is already in the making and it could be possible that an automatic version will also appear on the list soon. Moreover, the export models of the Mahindra Xylo will have Ssangyong’s petrol heart.
