New Mercedes Benz M Class launch slated this April
The new Mercedes Benz M Class SUV will be launched this April. The actual sales will also begin the same month. This is the latest buzz after the grand update by the German car maker that it will be entering the small car segment in the coming months. In India, the new M Class has already been unveiled at the Auto Expo held in January this year. Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar was the personality who unveiled it for Mercedes India. The important thing about the new M Class is that contrary to its predecessor, it will be assembled in India and thus a price cut is expected. This is also in line with Mercedes Benz plans to make its cars draw volumes in the Asia’s second biggest car market.

The M Class that will be launched in April will be the third generation of this Mercedes SUV and is expected to be high on performance, technology and looks just as its earlier generations were. As per the new M Class specifications available, the SUV is expected to set new benchmarks in terms of safety, interior comfort and use of quality plastics and other material inside. Besides, being an off roader it is expected to take on any terrain with even much better ease as that of its predecessors.

In terms of proportions, the new M Class is a little bigger than the outgoing SUV, still it does not appear to be bulkier and the proportions are well arranged throughout the body. Where it is a little longer than the exiting M Class its height has been shortened to some degree. The front has received a makeover with the LED lights that have become almost mandatory for cars these days have taken their place. This has added the extra sportiness to the Mercedes SUV. On the safety front, believe the M Class to be the most secure SUV. Nine airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, etc. are all part of the standard equipment. It has a EURO NCAP 5 star rating which is the highest.
