New Nissan Micra launch soon
Nissan is soon to give a facelift to Nissan Micra. This hatchback is known as March in Thailand and other markets and it will be launched in India after a Thai launch in sometime. The new 2013 model year Micra will have a host of new features and facelift areas. The car in India has been the best selling car and it has in a way settled the brand well in the country. The Micra Diesel is the most popular variant that has excellent mileage in addition to the looks and interior space. It is considered to be among the big hatchback it the country. Taking inspiration from its looks and its sales, Renault has also rolled out its Renault Pulse lately. Another reason why the car got steady sales is its price that starts at Rs 4.30 lakh.
Now that the car is about to get a new avatar, all eyes are on what all the features will make it on the India spec Micra. Though the overall slump in sales has also impacted on the sales of Micra in India but it is believed that the new model launch will make its more lucrative, provided it doesn’t go for a price rise. The price of the new Micra is believed to be a little more than the present model and as far as the changes on the new car are concerned it will have new LED tail lamps, new bumper at the front and at the rear. New Nissan badge at the newly designed grille. There are some styling changes on the dashboard as well as on the gizmos inside.
It is highly believed that the new model of Micra will have the same engine specifications and transmission options. The new Micra will be able to compete well with its rivals such as the Skoda Fabia, Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Swift and others in the segment. Already the car has an upper hand over other cars by Germans and the new model will give it an edge over others quite easily. The launch of the new Micra in India is expected to be anytime in April.
