New Nissan Micra launching in India on July 3
Nissan India will launch the much anticipated 2013 version of their premium small car Nissan Micra in Indian auto market on 3rd July 2013. After Ford Ecosport SUV, new Nissan Micra will be the second new launching car model in the country with in a period of one week only. Along with next generation version the Japanese auto major will also offer an entry level variant for the vehicle in order to target the entry level small car models like Hyundai Eon, Maruti Alto 800, Chevrolet Spark etc.
The New Nissan Micra facelifted will also be offered with automatic transmission system choice. The new avatar of the beast will come with fully redesigned body, new facia, redesigned grille along with new front bumper. With it, new fog lamp and a new pair of headlights will also be presented. Rear of the vehicle will come equipped with new bumper, new LED taillights and redesigned tailgate which provide it sporty image.
It will also come with revised interior which make it more premium than outgoing model. Meanwhile, engine choices of the premium hatchback will remain the same as before. The 2013 Micra will come loaded with a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The company will also introduce an automatic transmission system choice with petrol engine model. The new Micra will be a major rival of Maruti Swift, Ritz, Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo in the segment.
