Suzuki has launched the new Splash car in UK. The new Splash has received new exterior styling and upgraded interiors besides a lot of must changes. Notably, the Suzuki Splash is known as Maruti Ritz in India which is also awaiting its new avatar. The 2012 Splash launch in UK has happened soon after its launch in Europe last month. The new Splash as been priced at £7777 and is available for sale. With this price tag, the Suzuki Splash has become the cheapest car in Britain.

Meanwhile, India still awaits the new car Ritz which is a renamed version of Splash. The new Ritz launch is expected for quite some time now as reports suggested a May launch. The new Splash that was launched in Britain has new front bumpers, a new grille and a lot of minor styling updates on the outside besides an all new interior that is cozier and looks stunning as well. There is use of better quality of plastics inside. In Britain, the 2012 model of Splash has been launched in three trim levels viz. Splash SZ2, SZ3 and SZ4. The standard equipment accessories include audio system, leather wrapped steering wheel and power windows at the front. The SZ3 has air conditioning as standard and the top trim which is the SZ4 has a lot of safety and comfort features including Electronic Stability Control, start stop button and alloy wheels apart from other stunning features.

In India, the Ritz has done pretty well despite of its awkward looking styling art the rear. The new Ritz is awaited in India as transforming the fate of this car. Ritz in India was quite successful following the availability of its diesel model at a less price almost at an entry level. In India, the Ritz competes with other hatches including Skoda Fabia, Ford Figo, Fiat Punto and others.
