New Tata Indica Vista launched, priced at Rs 3.88 lakh
The country’s largest vehicle maker Tata Motors has launched new version of Vista hatchback in the Indian market. The price of new version of Tata Indica Vista starts at Rs.3.88 lakh for petrol and Rs.4.79 lakh for diesel version (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Vista is offered in four variants including both petrol and diesel versions. The company will start deliveries of this new Vista to the customers form 1st of September.
The diesel version of the car is powered by a 1.3 litre common-rail direct injection Quadrajet diesel engine which is capable of generating a peak power of 75 PS at the rate of 4,000 rpm. It is claimed to be delivering a mileage of 22.3 km per litre on the Indian roads. The quadrajet diesel range starts at Rs 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
On the other hand, the petrol version of the car comes powered by a 1.4 litre MPFi Safire petrol engine with variable valve timing technology. The powerful petrol engine is capable of delivering a peak power of 90 PS at 6,000 rpm, and is claimed to be offering a high fuel economy of 16.7 km per litre.
The unique feature of the car is a clutch-to-start technology that saves the engine from re-cranking. Moreover, the new Vista model is blessed with a range of comfort, convenience, styling and safety features including chrome grill, new triple barrelled head lamp, soft feel dash board and door pads, alloy wheels, anti-braking system (ABS), dual airbags, side intrusion beams and crumple zones.
