New Tata Indigo eCS and Sumo Gold to launch on June 15
Tata Motors will be launching the facelifted versions for Tata Indigo eCS sedan and Sumo Gold SUV on 15th June 2013. It is reported that the company will also bring out a special edition for the flagship SUV Tata Safari Strom by near future. In passenger car segment, Tata Motors holds the number 3rd position and in addition to spoor sales of these car models it has prepared the facelift versions. Besides it, after some time a CNG version of the cheapest small car, Nano will also be launched.
The new or facelifted Tata Indigo eCS get many more changes on exterior and interior. It comes with upgraded interior, and short and smooth gearbox. The company has prepared facelifted version for both petrol and diesel models of the popular compact sedan. The new version of eCS sedan will be thrown against the Honda Amaze, Chevrolet Sail and Maruti Swift Dzire which are luring a big stake of compact sedan car buyers.
On the other hand, Tata Sumo Gold also gets many more cosmetic upgrades on exterior and interiors. The new Sumo Gold comes equipped with additional features of rear AC vents, Bluetooth, and stylish Alloy wheels which provide it a premium SUV image in its category. It will play a role of rival against the Maindra Quanto. Meanwhile, the special edition of Safari Storme will get a special off-roading kit.
