Going through the pictures revealed by spies it is seen that generation next 5 Series will undergo minute cosmetic changes rather than some excessive alterations. Interestingly in its new avatar the refreshed 5 Series looks slimmer and new in its proposed look. Under the bonnet new 5 Series will be offered with wide range of engine choices varying between 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder. The Indian version will however continue with same engine configuration. According to reports it would be for the first time that global version of M5 will be offered also with all wheel drive (X-Drive) option. Talking about the looks, although spies caught completely covered unit of 5 Series but still succeeded in witnessing aggressive pointed front bonnet with steep slope, it is almost the same as offered in existing 3 Series saloon followed by headlamps merged with kidney grille. The upgraded 5 Series is based on car maker’s latest modular platform known as Cluster Architecture (CLAR). Other changes offered in new 5 Series it will embellish aluminum mixed alloy wheels with glossy black garnish, which means it will not continue the regular silver garnished aluminum mixed alloy wheels.
