Nissan joins the fleet of companies hiking prices
To overcome the increasing cost of production, like other car manufacturing companies Nissan India has also announced hike in prices on few of its models. The percent of hike varies from 1.4 percent to 2.9 percent and will be charged on Sunny, Micra and Micra Active. The hiked prices will be effective from October 1, 2013.
Commenting on reason of hiking prices Mr. Nitish Tipnis, Director, Sales and Marketing, Hover Automotive India said, company has hiked prices to reduce the effect of declining value of rupee due to which cost of production is increasing. According to him increase in price is normal and company is confident that customers will continue buying Nissan vehicles as earlier.
By increasing price of its vehicles Nissan has also joined the fleet of companies which have hiked prices of their vehicles in recent times.
