Nissan Launches 2017 Sunny, Priced Rs. 7.91 lakh
Japanese car maker Nissan has launched the refreshed version of its premium sedan in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 7.91 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). With upgraded Nissan the car maker has initiated its journey for 2017. The buyers willing to buy upgrade Nissan will be offered huge fleet of various new features without paying any additional amount. The generation next Nissan has been launched with existing price tags for all trims.
Mechanically, the new Nissan continues to be empowered with same existing engine configurations of 1.5 litre HR15 petrol and 1.4 litre k9k diesel engine. The former engine configuration has displacement capacity of 1498cc and generates the power of 98 bhp and mated with five speed manual along with option of CVT system. The later engine configuration has the displacement capacity of 1461cc and it produces the power of 85 bhp and comes with five speed manual gearbox.
This time Nissan has also introduced an option of Sandstone Brown Color apart from existing colors options. Besides, this on the exterior front it sports chrome garnished door handles, except this the exterior of Sunny carries the same look. Inside the cabin however, it is offered with an option block colored interior along with black colored fabric seats and interior panels. On the safety front, the New Sunny adorns features like smart key, push button start, ABS+EBD, dual front and side airbags and brake assist system in all trims. Along with Sunny, the Japanese car maker also has the hybrid version of X-Trail SUV in pipeline for this year.
Addressing the launch of New Sunny, Mr. Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said, "Nissan India is constantly listening to the voice of our customers. The New Sunny 2017 is a testimony to this with its spacious interior, comfortable drive feels and fuel-efficient engines. The new features and colour options offer more to our customers at the same price and we are confident this package will attract new Nissan car buyers."
