Nissan NV200 to break cover at Chicago Auto Show
The brand new product from Nissan’s stable, 2013 Nissan NV200 compact cargo van will break cover at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show. This commercial vehicle will cost you $19900 and will hit the showrooms in April 2013. However, this cargo van by Nissan is already available in over 40 countries; therefore it will be a bit late for the US car market to welcome NV200. The major reason behind launching the new NV200 in US is keeping in mind the small-business. This cargo van will be made available to aspiring US consumers in two variants, namely S and SV accompanied by optional packages. The package prices are not been uncovered as of now.
It is to be noted that the Nissan NV200 aka Nissan Evalia has already been launched in India. The highlighting features of this cargo van are its interiors, which has a mobile office made for folding the passenger’s seat and turning it into a work table. Apart from this, the car has been blessed with other comfort and convenience features as well. These comprise of 5.8 inches of touch screen display with Bluetooth connectivity, rear view monitor, GPS system, voice recognition facility for the navigation and audio. This one also has Pandora radio connectivity for Apple iPhone along with USB Interface. The other standard comfort features like AC with heater, Power steering and power windows are also present.
Coming to the heart of 2013 Nissan NV200, this cargo van is a front wheel drive and is fitted with 2.0-Litre4-cylinder petrol engine. This engine has the capacity to churn out 131HP of peak power with corresponding torque. The coupling of the engine is done with continuously variable transmission, which pushes the car to deliver 24 kmpl of mileage in the city, 25kmpl of fuel economy on the highway.As for India, Nissan will be bringing in the Nissan Sylphy Sedan to the Indian car bazaar in next couple of months.
