One more variant added in Tata Safari Storme, priced Rs. 13.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Domestic car maker Tata Motors has added one more variant in brigade of its best selling SUV Safari Storme. Named as Tata Safari Storme VariCor 400 the new variant has been offered in top version VX of the SUV and has been priced Rs. 13.52 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The newly introduced variant is equipped with new 2.2 litre VariCOR 400 diesel engine, newly developed gearbox and VariCOR 400 badge. There have not been any physical changes introduced in the vehicle.
It would be important to mention here that the engine offered in new VariCOR400 is similar to one offered in existing version Storme but with different power generating figures. Offered with six speed manual transmission system the new variant will churn the power of 154 bhp and torque of 400 Nm. The new power generation and torque generation figures are 7 bhp and 80Nm higher than the regular engine power generation figures.
Other features that are offered in new VariCor 400 it embellishes features like four wheel drive system along with electronic shift on the fly feature, followed by six speed manual gear transmission system. As far as there has not been any physical change introduced in new variant of Safari Storme, but still to make it look different from existing trims car maker has groomed it with features like Harman infotainment system, dual air bags, projector head lamps and few more.
