Peugeot cars displayed at Auto Expo

The Franco Car Manufacturer Peugeot is all set for its come back in the Indian Auto market. The company embarked its entry into India by showcasing its upcoming stylish 508 saloon at the Auto Expo which is a quintessential of the conventional offbeat French car styling. This Peugeot Car is going to be the flagship model at the time of its launch in India and it will be supported by a 1.6-litre diesel engine. With striking features like, a classy styling, ample of car space and diesel power plant option, the 508 saloon model is expected to give a jet start to the Peugeot trading in India. Note that the Peugeot 508 saloon Car has already been launched into the International Markets two years back.

The Peugeot Pavilion was also flocked by other attention-getting models like, Peugeot 3008 crossover which appeared to be a fantastic combo of an SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) and a MUV (Multipurpose Vehicle). The most peculiar feature of this car is its “ Multiflex Interior “as quoted by Peugeot wherein the seats can be fold up to their extreme limit in front of passenger seat making a flat loading space. Apart, also displayed was the Peugeot's 3008 Hybrid4 which is hailed as the world’s first diesel hybrid car that is due for launch in Europe in 2013.

Besides, Peugeot's RCZ sports coupe also drove attention of many with its heavily sloping, curvaceous ‘double-bubble roof which imparts it a significant, sporty aura. The sedan is fueled by a 1.6-litre petrol engine with variable states of tuning stimulating the limit up to 200bhp. A diesel variant producing 163bhp is also available.

Of all the displays, the most sensational, however was the Peugeot's Le Mans-winning 908 race car which is propelled by a potent twin-turbo 3.7-litre diesel engine. The engine is powerful enough to produce an accelerative 550bhp. Alongside its Car exhibition at the Auto Expo 2012, Peugeot has also made a copious investment of Rs 4000-crore for a forthcoming manufacturing unit in Gujarat which is undergoing construction now. All in all, Peugeot's Pavilion at Auto Expo 2012 is worth visiting with lots of attractions.
