Pictures of Chevrolet Beat Cross concept revealed before its launch
With the organising dates of Indian Auto Expo 2016 getting closer with each passing day all car makers have started revealing the progress of their preparations for show as an impact of which every day we are getting some fresh news about the upcoming cars and conceptual cars that will exhibit their charm during the show. This time we have news from the office General Motors India Limited, the Indian alliance of U.S based car maker General Motors. According to recent reports car maker has confirmed to display its two conceptual vehicles of which one would be cross over version of its best selling hatchback Beat. Information regarding this cross concept of Beat has been even revealed in a press release and in image displayed by car maker.
According to pictures the Beat Crossover will receive eye catching skid plates at front fascia. Apart from this the picture also reveals plastic layer mounted with fog lamps at front fascia. The newly developed head lamps are customized with LED day time running lamps. Moving ahead the image of Beat Cross concept also reveals company’s “Bowtie” mark, its particular green colored paint and roof rails. After launch in Indian car market the cross over will compete against Fiat Avventura, Toyota Etios Cross and Hyundai i20 Active.
As far as second conceptual vehicle by car maker is concerned nothing has been so far revealed by car maker, however according to industry experts this might be Adra concept that was exhibited during the last Indian Auto Expo held in 2014. An interesting feature of Adra concept is that its design has been exclusively developed by Indian engineers at General Motors technical centre located in Bangalore. The major features of Adra concept are enlarged seating glance, exclusive ground clearance, spacious interiors and all-round visibility. Along with these two conceptual cars the General Motor India is also reported to showcase its sports cars codenamed as Corvette and Camaro followed by Spin MPV slated for launch sometimes during 2017. With all these vehicles the American car maker is also expected to launch the refreshed version of its SUV Trailblazer during show.
