Pictures of Honda BR-V compact SUV Unleashed
Japanese car maker Honda Motors has revealed the pictures of its upcoming compact SUV BR-V, ahead of its launch on May 2016. According to reports the car maker is also speculating to organize road show for the same vehicle at different cities as part of its pre-launching strategy. Developed Brio’s platform, at first instance BR-V seems to carry same look as offered in MPV Mobilio. The power trains will include 1.5 litre SOHC, 4 cylinder, 16 valve i-VTEC petrol engine and 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine, boosting the powers of 117 bhp and 99 bhp respectively. The engines will be mated with continuously variable transmission system and also five speed manual gear transmission system.
From the exteriors BR-V looks similar to its global version, however as it is developed platform used in Brio it also embellishes few of its looks also adhered in it. The front fascia bestows large chrome garnished plates along with horizontal headlamps and projector lamps. The muscular bumper sports chrome surrounded fog lamps, large air dam and skid plates adding a spicy look to front profile of BR-V.
Inside the cabin it receives almost same treatment as offered in its global version with some additional features like integration of ABS+EBD, Hill Start Assist System, dual SRS airbags and few more. On the side it receives black color plastic cladding, large side windows similar to Mobilio, large roof rails, and 16 inch alloy wheels. As far as rear portion is concerned it receives completely new treatment with major attraction as integration of single unit of tail lamps.
