Range Rover 2014 launched by Land Rover
The British car maker Land Rover has launched the revised versions Range Rover Sport with price tag of Rs 1.09 crore (ex-showroom price, Mumbai) in Indian car market. The company has launched Ranger Rover Sport in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is empowered with 5.0 litre V8 supercharged petrol engine developing the power of 509 bhp and 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine that develops the power of 293 bhp. Both the engines are mated with ZF eight speed gearbox.
The new Range Rover Sport has been launched in three variants S, SE, HSE and the Autobiography. As far as the changes introduced in version are concerned the carbon fibre replaces the wooden trim, apart from this additional features mounted in new Range Rover Sport 2014 includes traffic sign recognition, land departure warning and park assist. With this it also offers various optional features to customers which they can integrate in their vehicle, these are InControl system followed by 3Gwifi hotspot, vehicle tracking and monitoring system, applications for android and iOS smartphones.
Company has designed Range Rover Sport on same its conventional platform of light weight aluminum but this time it has reduced it weight about 420 kgs as compared to Range Rover 2013. The exteriors receive dual tone color finish, slightly enhanced grille, blacked out headlights followed by a rear spoiler.
