Range Rover Evoque launch in India on 18th November 2011

Land Rover’s Range Rover Evoque is one name that approaches the mind of every off-roader enthusiast when it comes to choose the most desirable Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). In order to fulfill the aspiration of many SUV fanatics, the Range Rover Evoque will be launched on 18th of existing month in the country, a trusted source revealed.

Land Rover; a UK based auto maker now acquired by Tata Motors of India, will unveil their most fuel economical, light-weighted and smallest vehicle in the Range Rover series.

The appearance of this compact SUV will be based on LRX concept vehicle which was acclaimed worldwide for its looks. In the front the grille is divided into two horizontally, at sides are the headlamps with sharp aerodynamic angle. At the rear of Evoque the tail lamps are kept simple as all the other Range Rovers along with dual exhaust pipes in each corner of the rear bumper.

The interior of Evoque is capacious; seems to be inspired by Volvo, novel three-spoke steering wheel along with the seats stitched with supreme leather offering extreme level of comfort and luxury, enough leg room and head room for the occupants. The company has tried to outfit the crossover with most of the elements that are equivalent to its European models. There are many gadgets to get entertained furthermore parking sensors and reverse camera are kept standard on every model.

Available with petrol and diesel choices the Range Rover Evoque will be able to produce a power of 240 PS with its 2.0L petrol engine and the 2.2L common rail diesel turbo-charged engine is estimated to churn out a power of 190 PS. With both the power-trains a six speed auto transmission is offered.

The Range Rover Evoque will contend with top variant of BMW X1 and soon to be launched SUV of Audi named Q3.

Land Rover is not popular brand in India. We have to wait till its launching to see the blast of launching this small car.
