Range Rover sweeps 10 industry awards
Range Rover has been felicitated with ten international awards in just past three months since the SUV’s production began in India. Tata Motors who works in JV with the British marquee Jaguar rolled out Range Rover in the month of October, 2012. Land Rover Ranger Rover is critically acclaimed, all thanks to the sturdy monocoque aluminium body structure which sheds down 420 kilos with the SUV taking luxury and capability to an all new level, with even greater refinement and enhanced performance and handling on all terrains. The new Range Rover also heralds significant advances in sustainability. Range Rover is built at Land Rover's new low-energy Solihull facility with a strong presence and demand across the world.
The award list begins with the most recent one that has come from the Auto Best Group that is involved in motor writing and has named Range Rover as the ‘Technobest 2012’. Then there are honors from Autoweek, What car and Auto Motor und Sport that has marked the Range Rover as the ‘Dream Machine’, ‘Luxury Car of the Year’ and ‘Best Cars – Import Category’. Sunday Times selected Range Rover ‘The 4x4 Category Winner’.
John Edwards Land Rover’s Global Brand Director states in a press statement that the company feels proud of the award that Range Rover has been crowned with from the esteemed international motoring organizations and publications. The SUV is getting recognition across the globe which has just marked its entry three months back in the market. The revolutionary lightweight construction is the result of the unprecedented investment made towards technology and engineering. And all these efforts have resulted into the development of most refined and capable Range Rover ever.
