The leading French auto manufacturer, Renault is all prepared to sizzle the 2012 Geneva Motor Show with the debut of MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) ‘Renault Dacia Lodgy’. The name ‘Dacia Lody’ has derived from the word ‘lodge’ means having ample accommodation & cargo space.

It is a seven seater MPV along with good luggage space. It is 4.5 meter (length) and 30 cms. longer than the Mahindra Logan. The front of the car has rough resemblance to the Renault Koleos. The interior will be comfortable & eye-pleasing with good accommodation facility.

 The Renault Dacia Lodgy is entirely different concept with company’s previous edition Renault Duster but it will share the same engine. Though, its diesel variant comes equipped with a 1.5 litre engine that will offer maximum power of 90hp or 119hp.

The 1.6 litre gasoline engine will churn out the best power of 110hp. If words to be believed, the 90, 000 units of Renault Dacia Lodgy will be produced by this year and production will be increased upto 170, 000 afterwards in respect with the demand. It proves to be a strong contender of Toyota Innova MPVs and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, showcased at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.
