Renault Duster Automatic rolled out in Brazil

Since the time Renault India launched Renault Duster in the Indian car market, the car has turned to be a cracker. The sales are rising with a supersonic speed beating the car brands like Skoda, Nissan, Volkswagen and Chevrolet in October 2012.  It has been quite some time now that the car maker has rolled out the automatic variant of Duster in Brazil. There, it has been powered by a robust 2.0 Litre Flex fuel mill that has been coupled with a four-speed automatic transmission. This one is the front wheel drive and manages to give out a power-packed performance on road. So there are chances that Renault Duster could be launched in an automatic avatar in India as well.

Apparently, the company is flooded with request for the automatic Duster variant. It would definitely be a very smart decision for Renault to roll out the Renault Duster Automatic in the Indian car market. So far, the firm hasn’t spoken about this out in the open, but the recent success of the firm might just push the car maker to launch automatic Duster.
On the other hand, the competition for Renault Duster is ready already. Ford India is very close to launching Ford EcoSport. According to the rumors in the market, EcoSport is expected to be launched in the beginning of 2013. Also, Ford is apparently testing the powershift variant. This powershift is actually the most inexpensive double clutch automatic gearbox that was seen in the new Ford Fiesta. So if Renault launches Duster Automatic variant in the country, this could definitely make Renault a better and strong contender in the SUV segment. We are surely excited to see the battle between the titans. It would be a sight to see for sure!

Really the Renault Duster is an impressive vehicle which comes with affordable price. I like it more than Mahindra Quanto and Scorpio. And new the company should launch its automatic transmission system version in India too.
