Renault Pulse petrol version coming soon

Renault India is all set to unveil soon a petrol variant of its newly launched two-box, Renault Pulse, which is supposed to be the second car of the auto-maker to feature the petrol engine. So far, the French car maker, Renault has been more focused to launch their precised model range mated with the diesel engines, considering the peaking demands of diesel engine cars in the domestic auto market. However, the ultimate Renault saloon, the Fluence is also available in the petrol engine variant. The hatchback, Renault Pulse is refined sibling of Nissan Micra launched with a diesel engine in the Indian auto-market, last month. Moreover, the company's only available crossover, Renault Koleoes is also available only in the diesel in-line.

The much anticipated Renault Pulse petrol is reported to be blessed with Nissan Micra's 1.2 liter, 3-cylinder, petrol engine that will have enough efficiency to churn maximum power of 80 bhp. As of now, there are no declarations made by the company regarding the price of Renault Pulse petrol, but it would be quite interesting to see at what price this car would be slated. The available petrol variant of the saloon, Renault Fluence is available at higher price than its diesel variant; therefore, the company might intend to tag the petrol variant price of Renault Pulse higher than the diesel variant. Expectations are that the company would equip Renault Pulse petrol with an automatic transmission like the available Renault Fluence petrol installed with automatic gear-box, in order to keep this little hatchback more worthy than Nissan Micra.
