Ritz Elate: Limited Edition of Ritz launched by MSIL
Country’s leading car manufacturing company MSIL has silently launched the limited edition of its hatchback Ritz in Indian car market. The limited edition of Ritz has been named as Ritz Elta and has been offered in VXI and VDI variants. The limited edition embellishes new body decals and extra kit and has been offered Rs. 19,990 higher than the existing price of Ritz in Indian car market.
The limited edition Ritz Elta will continue the same existing 1.2 litre K series petrol engine churning the power of 85 bhp and torque of 113 Nm, while the diesel trim be enriched with 1.3 litre DDiS engine boosting the power of 73bhp and torque of 190Nm. The engine would be coated with five speed manual gearbox. The visual changes introduced in limited edition include orange graphic decals on the rear along with Logo of Elate, black door visors and mud flaps. Inside the cabin it bestows JVE two DIN music system, Bluetooth kit, reverse parking sensors and few more including new steering wheel cover, neck cushions, orange upholstery etc.
Ritz has been one of the best selling hatchbacks of the company in country, but in recent past it has witnessed decline in sales due to increasing competition in segment. With this limited edition the car maker speculates to boost the sales of Ritz which is strong contender of Nissan Micra, Renault Pulse and Tata Indica Vista Tech, in B segment of hatchbacks.
