Skoda Fabia Scout and RS 2000 visiting Auto Expo 2012
The Volkswagen Group’s Czech Republic based subsidiary Skoda Auto, seems to have made strong determination to tap every segment of the Indian car market. The latest news indicates that the company will display the 2012 version of hatchback Skoda Fabia that will dressed up in totally sporty variant named ‘Skoda Fabia Scout’ accompanied by roadster Skoda RS 2000, the one-of-its-kind convertible in the concept form, at Delhi Auto Expo. The high-performance car is a four-seater vehicle and is used in the sports rallies organized by Skoda.

The overall looks of the Skoda RS 2000 are imposing as the design engineers at Skoda studio have designed this extended version of fabulous ‘fabia-looking’ car in an all new structure. The car has a ‘Bugatti Veyron’ sort of wide bonnet along with 18-inch tyres and is capable enough to take one for a ride with its 2.0L, 4-cylinder dual turbocharged engine that churns mind-boggling out 200 bhp.
The other presentation from the Skoda stable will be the revamped version of Skoda Fabia called Scout. The company has launched many variants of this hatchback in recent times since its launch in 2008, but this 2012 will unquestionably be one of the most excellent. The front suspension of the Fabia Scout is now lifted up to guarantee utmost ground clearance, which was an issue with the earlier model.
The Scout will now pose more like a perfect blend of an SUV, though the absence of features like 4X4 system will be felt. The new wheel arches, distinctive front and rear bumpers along with the roof-rails at the top will assist Skoda Scout to create its own individuality.
