Skoda Rapid Sedan now offered in 8 variants
Skoda India is doing quite okay in the Indian car market. Its products like Skoda Laura, Skoda Yeti and Skoda Rapid are loved by the consumers across the globe including India. Recently, the car maker has tweaked its Skoda Rapid range a bit and removed 2 of its variants, namely Ambition and Active from the range. When Rapid was launched in the country, the car was rolled out in five petrol and five diesel variants, but now removing two trims has made Skoda Rapid available in 8 variants currently. This means that the new Skoda Rapid base variant called Active plus will get some extra features as compared to the older base variant. The new base variant will be seen with remote control with foldable key, electronically adjustable ORVMs and central locking system.
On the other hand, the Ambition model has been replaced by new Skoda Rapid Ambition Plus with a host of new features. These include in chrome finishing on the AC vents, child proof window locking system for the rear, remote control for window operations, 2-DIN Skoda audio player with security code, impressive format display, data card reader, electronically handled ORVMs, bounce back system and more.
Apart from this change, Skoda India is putting its best foot forward and working on strengthening its dealership network too. Also, the firm is providing easy schemes and EMI offers, which would make it easy for a consumer to buy a Skoda product. If you wish to buy a 2012 Skoda Rapid sedan, a whopping Rs. 70000 discount can be availed on Elegance variants. In addition, a year’s insurance is free on 2012 Skoda Rapid models. Overall, a lot in store for you, if you are in plans to buy a Skoda Rapid for yourself any soon!
