Skoda Superb facelift revealed
In continuation to our earlier reports regarding launching of facelift Skoda Superb during upcoming Indian Auto Expo, it would be interested to know that Czech auto maker has now started publishing the briefs regarding the upgrades that will be introduced in facelift version on social media before unveiling the new Superb in global market next year. The facelift Superb which will be served in Indian car market is similar to one which was unveiled last year in European car market. As far as price of facelift Superb is concerned nothing has been revealed by company and it is speculated that it will be disclosed at the time of its unveil during Auto Expo.
As far as mechanical changes are concerned company has not made any changes in engine configuration and will continue the same 1.8 litre TSI and 2.0 litre TDI, petrol and diesel engine respectively. However according to reports the front fascia is upgraded with newly designed headlights followed by LED daytime running lights, new grille, newly designed front bumper and foglights.
Moving back to rear portion company has introduced new taillights along with LED stop lights and licensing plate placed at the bootlid. Talking about the interiors it is reported that company will continue the same interiors except the leather upholstery which will be offered with an option of beige or black color. It is speculated that company will release car for sale immediately after the completion of Indian Auto Expo or in the second quarter of this year.
