Skoda to offer limited edition of 276 bhp Octavia RS
With an objective to celebrate 40th anniversary of its rally car 130 RS, Czech car maker Skoda is speculating to launch the limited edition of Octavia RS. The sedan would be launched next year at the time and will be energized with Volkswagen’s EA888 petrol engine which would be the most powerful engine offered ever in Octavia. The engine would 4 cylinder 2.0 litre turbocharged engine producing the power of 2765 bhp and torque of 295 Nm. The sedan would be offered with front wheel drive system.
The Czech car maker had launched the refreshed Octavia last year in both petrol and diesel variant. The petrol variant is equipped with 1.4 litre TSI petrol engine producing the power of 138 bhp and torque of 250Nm, while the diesel variant will be equipped with 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine boosting the power of 141 bhp and torque of 320Nm. Apart from this there is one engine option offered in petrol variant which integrates 1.8 litre TSI petrol engine developing the power of 177 bhp and torque of 250 Nm.
