Social media centre for Nissan in Chennai by Defiance technologies
Defiance Technologies (a subsidiary of Hinduja group company), has opened a social media command centre on Thursday. The centre has been opened in Chennai for the Japanese auto maker Nissan. The social media centre is a part of the company’s global strategy to monitor all the regions via local supervision. Through this centre the company would be able to monitor, scrutinize and participate with the customers. Nissan’s executive vice-president stated during the inauguration of the social media centre that the online engagement has become a primary mode for connecting with the customers.

A team comprising of 30 members will get the report on Nissan products. Nissan India sells Nissan Micra, Nissan Sunny, and Nissan 370Z etc. Along with improving the brand, this initiative will also help the company to proffer enhanced service to the customers. The services were earlier launched in only two languages including the Japanese and English language, and now it will be launched in additional 30-50 languages in the coming time. The Managing director and chief executive officer of Defiance technologies said that the company is capable enough to run a dedicated social media centre for its customers related to design and build.

The system is able to recoup information from twitter and other social networking sites regarding Nissan and its rivals’ products within a time frame of 30 seconds. This system can analyse competition, consumer, event, campaign and buying exemplars of the consumers on social networks.
