The Korean auto manufacturer, SsangYong Motor makes a significant beginning in the Indian market through the ongoing 2012 Auto Expo. The 70% share of the SsangYong was acquired by the Indian automotive brand, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited early in 2011, approved by the Free Trade Commission of South Korea.

In intention to achieve a successful and firm launch, company has appeared with its four innovative gems from different segments including SsangYong Rexton SUV, SsangYong Actyon Sport dual-cab pick-up, SangYong XIV-1 Concept and SsangYong Korando E (full electric car). The SsangYong Rexton is a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) having conventional chassis and design.

Its interior has ample space for seven passengers in a 2 + 3 + 2 layout with proper comfort arrangements. This SsangYong comes powered with a2.7 litre turbocharged common rail diesel engine, sourced by the Mercedes Benz. It churns out maximum power of 181bhp and torque of 41kgm.

SsangYong Actyon Sport dual-cab’s pick-up has capacity to load five passengers with plenty of cargo space. Though, it doesn’t looks impressive but the feature-rich interior makes distinction including Bluetooth connectivity, audio system, rear-view camera, sunroof, ESP, airbags and more.

The all new Actyon comes powered with a 2 litre diesel engine offering decent power & performance. The next generation crossover, SangYong XIV-1 Concept has got stunning looks with little resemblance to a SUV. The powertrain and running cost make good deed.
