Survivor of Freelander spotted on U.K roads
The British car maker Land Rover is working on introducing the replacement of its mid-sized SUV Freelander and the vehicle has been witnessed being tested on roads at several occasions. This time again the replacement of Freelander is caught undergoing test drives on roads of United Kingdom. The expected vehicle is designed on the same platform on which outgoing Freelander is based and it also carries few of its features offered in Evoque.
It is claimed that the upcoming Freelander will bring a revolution in its segment and will join the category of ‘Discovery’ section of models. This means that the upcoming will not carry the badge of Freelander and will be bestowed with Discovery badge. According to reports it will be for the first time that Land Rover will introduce the generation next Freelander with option of both five seats and seven seats. It will also be equipped with JLR’s high powered HotFire four cylinder engines.
It is also speculated that this revolutionary vehicle will be offered with 9 speed automatic gearbox. Apart from this it will also be blessed with more effective front wheel drive, which will be efficient than the outgoing Freelander.
