Suzuki optimistic about its future expansion plans
Japanese auto giant Suzuki Motors has disclosed its expansion plans for next three years during which it shall be producing cars for both emotional and rational segments of buyers. This was revealed by Mr. Dale Wyatt, Sales and Marketing of Director of company’s U.K office. Addressing the launch of new Suzuki Vitara Mr. Wyatt said that the first car in this segment would be Celerio developed in Thailand and will replace the Splash and Alto. The Thai built Celerio is developed for rational customers. It would be important to mention that Celerio hatchback has already been launched in Indian car market. The UK version of Celerio would be energized with three cylinder 1.0 litre petrol engine.
The next car to make its debut in same segment would be replacement of Swift hatchback and it would be showcased during the Geneva Motor Show to be held next year. An interesting feature of this car is that it would be larger than Swift but about 90 Kg lighter. After introducing both these cars for rational segment, the next car from company would represent the emotional segment and will showcased during Frankfurt Motor Show 2014 this will be a funky model and will be blessed with features that are offered in 4x4 vehcile.
Talking about the SUV Vitara, Mr. Wyatt said that it will represent the car for emotional segment of buyers and will be introduced parallel to its existing sibling SX4 S-Cross exhibiting rational segment of buyers. According to Mr. Wyatt in coming future company will also come up with sports version of Vitara.
